Domestic biomass systems can be used to provide space heating and hot water for your property. Biomass is a clean and sustainable fuel source and produces less carbon than fossil fuels. It has economic as well as ecological benefits, due to reduced fuel bills, as well as the support of the Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI). Biomass boilers can be simple self fill systems or have fully automated fuel supply and intelligent controls and they can be a great solution for those who are currently using oil or LPG (Liquid Petroleum Gas) for their heating.
Biomass fuel, used to power biomass stoves and boilers, comes in three main forms: logs, wood chip and wood pellets. Your location, size of system and personal requirements will dictate which fuel is best for you.
Our domestic range of boilers includes a range of small to large systems from Okofen, Hargassner, MCZ and Klover.
A commercial biomass system could range in size from a small heating system to supply heat and hot water within an office environment up to a system large enough to supply a school or factory. Each of our suppliers can provide systems for commercial use but for the larger systems we would be recommending a Hargassner boiler.
We are approved installers for all of our biomass suppliers.
Biomass systems can produce large quantities of heating and hot water. We have clients whose requirements range from poultry shed heating and hot water for washing down buildings and dairy parlours, to multiple holiday lets requiring heat and hot water for the farm diversification part of their business.
We can assess your site and tailor a biomass system to meet your individual needs.
